Born and raised in the communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, Josh grew up in a large, busy household with his parents & seven siblings. He grew up participating in a variety of athletics, including competitive soccer, a sport that he still actively enjoys playing today. After high school, he attended the University of the Fraser Valley, taking courses in Urban Studies. During this time, Josh was also working in construction as a carpenter that involved framing residential homes.

His outgoing personality helps in communication, talking through ideas or problems and handling fast-paced situations that require quick decision making.
